  • Ahelm - Jules

    Ahelm - Jules

    PROPER GOODS

AHLEM's Jules is at once geometric and softly rounded, combining two of the most influential eyewear aesthetics of the past 12 months into a single silhouette. Defined by its slim, horizontal profile, Jules embraces the continued popularity of elongated eyewear and subtle curves, which soften its architectural lines. The frame is elegant yet substantial, reflecting the industry's growing shift toward shapes that feel both distinctive and effortlessly wearable. Inspired by the cutting-edge fashion and street style of Tokyo, Jules possesses an effortless sense of cool. Its sleek proportions and confident silhouette capture the energy of contemporary fashion while remaining grounded in AHLEM's philosophy of timeless design. It feels directional and relevant without sacrificing longevity. Handcrafted in France in the heart of Europe's historic eyewear-making region, Jules showcases the exceptional craftsmanship for which AHLEM has become renowned. Every detail is carefully considered, from the balance of its proportions to the precision of its construction, resulting in a frame that feels as luxurious as it looks. AHLEM's designs are distinguished by their meticulous attention to detail: specialised acetate treatments create subtle variations in form, while the brand's signature raw-cut edges introduce an architectural sharpness that gives the design its edge. What makes Jules particularly compelling is its ability to embody current fashion movements while remaining resistant to them. It speaks to the rise of slim, oval silhouettes, yet its proportions and refined construction ensure it will endure long after trends evolve. Like all AHLEM designs, Jules is not driven by seasonal fashion cycles but by a commitment to enduring beauty and intelligent design. Balancing strength with softness, fashion relevance with longevity, and innovation with timeless appeal, Jules represents the very best of contemporary eyewear. It is a frame that captures the spirit of the moment while remaining firmly positioned for the future, making it a worthy contender for Fashion Frame of the Year.

    PROPER GOODS

From the brands SS26 collection, ALIENY embodies Thierry Lasry’s distinctive approach to eyewear design, balancing high-fashion sophistication with a playful irreverence. A bold reinterpretation of the classic 1970s aviator, the frame transforms a familiar archetype through graphic proportions, sculptural acetate construction, and an architectural double bridge. Handcrafted in Europe from premium Italian acetate, ALIENY is defined by its confident silhouette. Thick, sculpted rims frame generous lenses, while the geometric bridge adds structure and tension.
